Kym's Family:   Jeff and Kym are 4th generation Realtors, Jeff's Nana and Kym's grandma were Realtors.  Jeff and Kym work together which helps us out when we need two of us!  Clients Love him almost as much as they love ME!  He's the Jack of all trades...does everything!  He's put up FHA approved rails - crawled under homes - put in a GFCI. Like I said he does it all!

Kym's sons - Jeff and Randy  - both graduated from Kent State.  Jeff also just received his Masters making him extra marketable.  Kudos to you both!

Jeff loves finding clients THE RIGHT home and will keep searching till that happens. Kym loves paperwork and dotting the I's and crossing the T's.

Jeff has a lovely  wife, Jessica.  They spent 2 years in Utah recently. Left with 1 child and came back to Ohio with 3 children. They now have 4 under 10.  Grandma Kiki loves having them all locally again. They also have two pups - Aussies - Chloe and Capri.  Jessica owns a pediatric  speech clinic in Chardon - call if you want her digits. Pickleball (which Jeff picked up in Utah), Volleyball, Softball, Basketball...you get where this is going...are Jeff's hobbies. He is the reason I started Pickleball which is my newest Passion (other than Real Estate and the Grand babies),  winning out over Volleyball.

About Buying homes:    I bought my first home at a 13% interest rate - WAAAY back.  That is over TWICE to THREE TIMES the current rate.  And I was happy to get that rate as they rose up to 21% before hedging down.  I refinanced 3 times.  Buyers need to realize with terrific interest rates at approximately 5 to 6% and achieving the American Dream- housing always was and always will be a great investment- NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY!

Pets are a very important part of many of my buyers and sellers lives.

Some that have gone to the Rainbow Bridge are: Lady was a Boxer that we found abandoned on the road. Her one amazing skill is opening the refrigerator door, could that be why she was abandoned? But we found a refrigerator lock that eliminates that as a problem.

Dylan was a golden retriever/black lab mix, he lived to 14 - good run for a big dog -and the most even tempered dog you could find,  The kids rolled with him and layed on him and he took everything kids can dish out. Any puddle he found or drop of water was his own personal pool.  And at the park he could sniff out anything dead and brought the scent back home.  Best Dog ever.

Chester was a chocolate lab that was larger than life - smart for a chocolate lab and energetic - loved the water but couldn't swim so well - was close companion to Dylan their entire lives.  What a great family dog a lab is.

New ones we saved are:   Bosley is a chocolate lab, he's 8.  Bosley is our second chocolate lab- after Chester - we had to get another one we missed Chester so much! Chocolate labs are not only beautiful but the HARDEST to train.  Bosley's gone to Tall Pines Dog Training with Gail and is one step closer to "behaving".  He's alternately  insane!  delightful! challenging! disobedient! cuddly! We call him "soft fur - sharp teeth" which says it all.

Another stray we found was Abigail- she's 12.  She's a Jack-a-Bee.  Jack Russell and Beagle combo.  Abby follows a scent anywhere - perhaps that's how she was "lost"? I've had her chipped so we don't lose her too.  She's joined the family and is an absolute delight of 30 pounds with a vertical leap of 4 foot, and smart as a whip.

Next up - an elderly lady passed away and left a miniature poodle called Precious 3 yrs old- I work with lost dogs and said I would found it a home.  The first 4 people to bring the poodle from North Carolina to Ohio found fault with the poor thing. She was returned several times to me. I was flummoxed as to why an overweight poodle could cause so much discontent with people, so I let her stay with my herd until I figured out what her issues were.  There were none.  She was 25 pounds - picky eater - and that was it!  We've kept her too - she's down to 14 pounds and the other pups LOVE her. Oh and we call her Poodle or Poo-delicious.

Zeke was found running on I-90 one day by my sister - she managed to rescue him while not getting anyone killed.  He is a Rhodesian Ridgeback and talk about a well behaved, smart, kind, lover - that's Zeke.

A client called me one day and said that if I didn't pick up her small dog-her grandkids were going to kill him and rip his legs off.  So my husband (A soft touch) and I went to pick up the small dog - we fell in love!  he's a chichuahua mix and so small - we worried the hawks would pick him up in the yard and take him away - but he grew to be bigger than most chichuhuas (so we figure he's a mix) he's 17 pounds of fun-like a retriever without the other 60 pounds-good retriever and FUN!  The kids called him Kevin (everyone loves that name).

Lastly - we saw my sister as she was returning from Columbus with a group of 3 dogs that were being put to sleep the next day.  She said come see who I saved.  We again saw a little guy with our name on it - a smallish 4.75 pound thing - who could put this baby to sleep???? young maybe 4 to 6 weeks old - we had to give him a chance at a good home - so we took him in.  His name is Simon - he's doing well with the rest of the group.

A Dog owners should take a few extra moments to acknowledge the fundamental role dogs play in our lives. This year why not promote a pound pet? 

One way dogs enhance our lives is through mutual bonding activities, such as exercise. Many of us are not getting enough exercise due to busy schedules and various obligations, and our dogs are sometimes out-of-shape and bored. Consider changing your daily routine to include 30-60 minutes of exercise for you and your dog. I take my pups on two walks - walk them in shifts so each gets exercise. Try it for yourself and your pet and see how it goes. Then, make it a long-term commitment and watch how it "jazzes up" your life.
